HomeworkThis is a featured page

Homework is encouraged.

Homework can take a number of forms:

a) reading... it is important that all children extend the reading that they do at school by regularly reading at home. The instruction is carried out at school but children need to reinforce their skills with reading mileage.

b) supporting the classroom programme by gathering information. When parents can help their children locate and understand information this expands the learning opportunities for children.

c) skill practice... regular work on times tables, spelling lists and learning other basic things.

d) completing work that is unfinished in class.

We hope that homework will be a regular time when parents enjoy working positively alongside their children.
