TrusteeshipThis is a featured page

Every three years our community elect a Board of Trustees to govern our school. The Board hold in trust for the community the successful education of all children enrolled in the school. Our Board has a legal function, and more importantly they need to act with wisdom and judgment to do what is best for the children in our school today to enable them to succeed in an uncertain tomorrow.

Boards are guided by the Education Act 1989, a Charter and three sets of guidelines:

a)The National Education Goals
b)Curriculum Statements
c)National Administration Statements

Our Board meets on the second Monday of each month in the staffroom at 7.30pm. Parents are welcome but should check dates with the office before attending.

Our Board has six members elected by the parents, the Principal, a Staff Rep. and two seconded members.
